IEC 60945 marine certified silicone keyboard with ergonomic trackball

NSI proudly presents a new range of IEC60945 certified keyboards : the “RKTE85” series is highly suited for marine environments thanks to its robustness and ease of maintenance. They feature a compact rubber silicone keyboard and integrated ergonomic 38 mm trackball with hall-effect scroll wheel. They all have recently been certified to IEC60945 fourth edition; this is required for use with ECDIS & Radar systems.
The backlit keys warrant for optimized performance while working in low-light environments.
The key legends are backlit using high brightness LEDS. Using low power LED's assures an extended life time for the backlighting. An external power supply is not necessary; the power from the USB keyboard port being sufficient. A non-backlit version is also available.
This series is offered as enclosed version with robust ABS enclosure or as panel mount version.
Options include NVIS compatible backlighting and custom dimming settings. Customization is possible without having to reapply for certification. F.i. adapted backlighting controls, addition of company logo or specific function keys, different layouts, different colour, …
